The science fiction/fantasy fan club U.S.S. Hudson Bay was formed in 1989 in Toronto, Canada and incorporated as Infinite Diversity International Corporation, a federal nonprofit corporation, in 1993.
Its fanzine, The Voyageur, has won three Aurora Awards for Fan Achievement (Fanzine): in 2000, 2001 and 2002.
In 2003, four Hudson Bay members won Aurora Awards: Robert Sawyer for Best Short-Form Work in English, Edo van Belkom for Best Work in English (Other), Mel Vavaroutsos for Artistic Achievement (for illustrations of Rob Sawyer fiction published in The Voyageur), and Georgina Miles for Fan Achievement (Organizational).
The club welcomes new members. Here's a membership form (in Acrobat Reader pdf format; if you don't have Acrobat Reader, click on the logo). Join us!
Even if you don't join the club, come back and visit the site often. It's frequently updated with unique material, and access is free. Numerous volunteers donate time, skills and server space (thanks, Alex!) to keep the site going.
